We are at the north end of Thonglor, where the road meets Phetchaburi, directly under the canal bridge — not the Sukhumvit end most writing about Thonglor means.
Thong Lo pier on the Khlong Saen Saep line is about 60 metres away, across a footbridge — a different bridge from the one we sit under.
From Pratunam, Asok or anywhere along the canal this is comfortably the fastest way to us, and it skips Thonglor traffic entirely.
The station is about 2 km away, at the far Sukhumvit end of the road. It is not a walk, and we would rather say so than have you find out halfway.
Red trucks (songthaew) run the length of Thonglor from the station and stop in front of us. They are cheap, frequent and the way most regulars arrive.
“Saphan 55” is usually enough. If that does not land, “saphan” (สะพาน) will — it is the only bridge on the road.
Failing both, show the driver this:
ไปสะพาน 55 สุดซอยทองหล่อ ตรงสะพานข้ามคลองแสนแสบ
There is free parking on site, shared with the venue. In this part of Bangkok that is worth knowing before you decide where to spend an evening.
Coming down Thonglor from Phetchaburi, we are on your left just before the canal bridge — it is easy to drive past, so slow down at the water.
